As the world continues to become more connected, the amount of available information increases. But for many, access to that information is limited, in most cases, by factors outside of our control - where we were born, what language we speak, and the environment we live in.

At Lilt, we are constantly building tools and systems to help ensure that language is no longer the barrier to information. But at the center of everything we do is our global translator community, who work steadfastly day in and day out to help us deliver successful work to our customers.

That’s why we’re proud to share that we have recently become the Diamond Sponsor of Translators without Borders, the leading global translation non-profit.

Our two companies share a similar mission - to provide access to information for all people, no matter the language they speak. To do so, we must work closely with the growing network of translators around the world, and we’re looking forward to helping Translators without Borders expand that community.

Since its founding in 1993, Translators without Borders has worked tirelessly to reduce the gaps in language that prevent the spread of important international humanitarian and development efforts. Since 2011, they have translated over 50 million words for non-profit organizations, spanning nearly 200 language pairs.

We’re looking forward to working with Translators without Borders to support those efforts moving forward. As always, we’re hoping to build better communities within the localization industry and outside of it. We’re excited to share our continued efforts to do so, and hope that you join us for all that’s coming soon.
