Lilt is happy to announce the addition of Bulgarian and Slovenian to our platform today. With this, Lilt officially supports 40 languages; or 50 including variations of languages such as Castilian and Latin American Spanish.
Bulgarian and Slovenian are Official Languages of the European Union, spoken primarily in the countries of the same name.
Slovenia is nestled at the base of the Alps with one toe in the Adriatic. Above, Bled.
A Byzantine Church in Bulgaria, which spans the land from the Balkan Mountains to the Black Sea.
We are excited for speakers of Slovenian and Bulgarian to leverage Lilt.
Languages Supported by Lilt:
As of July 2nd, 2019, here are the 40 languages currently in Lilt’s platform:
- Arabic (Many variants)
- Chinese (Simplified & Traditional)
- English (UK, US & International)
- Portuguese (European & Brazilian)
- Spanish (Castilian & Latin American)
Because Lilt’s machine translation software adapts to content, it quickly becomes more accurate in precise variants of any given language, and even to the specific style and terminology of text.
"Translating with Lilt has helped me become faster and more accurate in the last year: my words-per-minute has doubled!" said Célia Roberts, who helps several Lilt customers translate their content, "The system is user-friendly and a delight to work with since it adapts to my style, which lets me concentrate more on the challenging translations and have fun 'trans-creating.' I am happy to see Slovenian and Bulgarian added to the platform!"
Adding Languages to Lilt
We are always adding new languages to Lilt based on customer demand. In all cases, the user experience for our customers will be the same, regardless of the language.
If you are interested in leveraging Lilt in a language not listed above, please let us know!
