Instant Translate and Secure Configuration for GitHub

We’re thrilled to announce that our GitHub Connector now offers users the ability to choose between Verified or Instant Translation to localize GitHub content.

Verified Translation sends your content to Lilt, where human linguists translate your content before sending it back to GitHub for publishing.

Instant Translation provides a machine translated version of your article within seconds, and with more than 100 supported languages, it’s the quickest way to localize your GitHub content.

We've also launched the official Lilt Application in the GitHub Marketplace, allowing users to securely transfer access tokens between GitHub and Lilt to streamline and safeguard the GitHub Connector configuration process.

Lilt Engineering: Training Machine Translation Models

We’re excited to announce a new Lilt Engineering blog series that shares an up-close and personal perspective about the approaches, systems, and technologies that fuel innovation at Lilt.

Learn How Lilt Trains Machine Translation Models to turn huge piles of data and mathematical equations into natural language translations in the first installation of this series.

Lilt Employee Spotlight

Judith Nursalim, a Software Engineer in our San Francisco office, helps build and enhance the technical infrastructure of Lilt.

Learn about career advice that has guided Judith since childhood, her favorite outside-of-the-office activities, and her approach to merging her longtime love of language and technology as a Software Engineer at Lilt in the latest installment of our Employee Spotlight.

Kicking off a new global experience campaign should be exciting and invigorating, but with numerous moving parts it can also be intimidating. To help squash the feeling of intimidation, we’ve created What to Expect When Starting a New Global Experience Campaign, a guide that’s packed with tips to ensure you’re set up for success.

A style guide is your language team’s global experience roadmap. Without one, translators struggle to grasp brand style, context, and company terms resulting in inconsistent translations and global experiences. Learn what you should include in a style guide, and why maintaining one is critical to the success of your global experience initiatives, in our overview here.
