Written by Daniel Hom | August, 29, 2019

Welcome to the August 2019 Product Newsletter. Languages were a big focus for Lilt this month, with support for two new languages, the first non-English language pairs, support for regional differences within languages, and much more.

Read on to learn more about these features and how to see a demo.

New Languages

Lilt now supports translation between English and Hebrew, and English and Croatian.

Additionally, Lilt is happy to introduce its first non-English pairs: German to Italian, and German to French.

This brings the total number of languages supported by Lilt to 42. You can view the complete list here.

Region-specific Language

Lilt now supports region-specific language codes for all supported languages. For example, Projects and Memories can be set in different locales of English:

Memories can be updated with new source and target languages, including specifying the region locale.
