Welcome to the October 2019 Product Newsletter. This month, we've focused on infrastructure improvements and usability, particularly to how Lilt interacts with Translation Memories (TM).
Read on to learn more about these features and how to see a demo.
Improved TM Usability
We've made it faster and easier to work with Translation Memories, whether you're choosing between different Matches or reviewing multiple, identical segments.
Lilt now supports the following additional TM functions:
- Selecting a TM Match from the right-hand sidepanel replaces any existing
target text in both Translate and Review Modes.
- Auto-propagation now applies in Review Mode. Accepting a segment will automatically accept other segments that are 100% Exact Matches. This can be configured in the Settings menu.
- When editing the target text of a segment in Review Mode, Lilt will now also propagate those changes to other segments that are 100% Exact Matches. This includes selecting other TM Matches.
Read our knowledge base articles to learn more about using Memory Search and the CAT Editor.
Additional Updates
- Support for detecting more metadata types when using the Segment Metadata Viewer.
- Support for modifying Memories via uploading TestMaster Questions Data (.tmq) files. View all of Lilt's supported file formats here.
Thank you for reading, and thank you for translating with Lilt.
Cheers,
The Lilt Team
