Last year, we started a series highlighting the amazing Lilt employees (or Liltonians, as we like to call ourselves). We’re excited to continue that series this year with some of our team leaders helping to pave the way for a multilingual global future. Get to know more about the faces behind the work, their backgrounds, what makes them tick, and what makes Lilt the place for them.

Meet Morgan Raymond, a Senior Account Executive in Sales helping companies find solutions to their localization challenges. With nearly four years of experience at Lilt and additional sales experience prior, Morgan is a seasoned leader building the foundation here at Lilt. 

What's your role at Lilt, and what does your day to day look like?

I'm an Account Executive! I spend my day building strategic, scalable, and impactful localization programs with our existing and prospective customers. It's exciting to be part of a team that's at the forefront of building partnerships with organizations all around the world.

What is/was your favorite project to work on at Lilt and why?

Overall, my favorite projects at Lilt are whenever I can partner with our customers to drive direct impact on their global customer experiences. It's always interesting to see how Lilt's technology and services help our customers launch and grow internationally with language.

What led you to join Lilt?

Fun fact: I joined Lilt as one of the first members of the Revenue team!

My belief in our mission, our technology, our services, and our team was the reason I joined, and is the reason I'm happy to be here 3.5 years later. Needless to say, I've loved watching how much our team has grown with amazing talent over the years.

Describe life at Lilt in three words.

Energizing, dynamic, purposeful. Everyone on the team works really hard to make sure that we’re building the right tools that help companies to accomplish their global experience goals, and it’s great to have the entire company moving in the same direction. We always have new projects to work on, and that helps keep things exciting and fun.

What is your "happy place" outside of work? What do you like to do for fun?

My go-to favorite activity is definitely taking walks outside in nature, often accompanied by my dog, Bodhi (pictured below). I spend most of my vacation days visiting family and friends - which is always a blast. I also love listening to live music, trying new restaurants, and shamelessly watching reality TV.

What is your favorite quote or personal mantra?

One of my all time favorite quotes is "Comparison is the thief of joy". This quote often reminds me to stay grounded in various aspects of my life.

What Lilt value do you resonate with the most? (Toughness, Humility, Quickness, and Meticulousness)

Quickness. Lilt is an extremely fast and high-growth company. We always are trying something new at Lilt, and every day is different. Definitely keeps me on my toes!

If you could learn to speak any language(s), what would it be and why?

Three languages come to mind: Italian, Polish, and Chinese. Growing up, I've always wanted to learn Italian and Polish to better connect with my family. More recently, I've wanted to learn Chinese to keep up with my partner.
